We had a terrific visit with George and Cheryl yesterday and I have to start with an apology - we got caught up in the visit and didn't get a photo for today's entry.
The original plan was to have pizza brought in for dinner but the recommendation by the folks at the Pizzeria - LaPiazza Al Forno - was to eat at the establishment to get the full benefit of the great homemade taste and freshness. This opened up some other options for dinner and both Cheryl and Josie opted for an Italian entre in lieu of a pizza. George and I ordered personal pizzas. I never thought to take a photo during the meal, and we were watching the President's Cup golf tournament at the house where I again forgot to get a snapshot. I'll take double pictures next time. It was fun catching up on our summer activities and family updates.
Next up on our schedule is the visit by Kristine and Justin which begins this Saturday - tomorrow. We are ready for that visit except for filling in the schedule with some fun places to go during the week. The Arizona State Fair opens next Friday, so that probably will be one event for the schedule. There are other places we are considering, but will run those by Kristine and Justin before scheduling them. Whatever we schedule, it will be nice to spend the week with them...
