We had a couple of appointments to take care of yesterday so we just hung-out at home. Josie had a doctors appointment and I had a meeting with a new landscaper to get an estimate on fixing our irrigation system from the damage that our previous landscaper did.
I'm also having response time problems with my Verizon connections again so this will be a short entry. Our plan today is to leave by 6 AM to drive to the Grand Canyon for the day. Kristine has never seen it and Justin hasn't seen it for many years - he was fairly young the last time and will appreciate it more at this age. We hope to beat the forecasted rain which is suppose to arrive late today. By the way, we set a record yesterday in Phoenix at 100 degrees. We went to 102 at our place, so I have no idea when we can expect summer to disappear...
