The visit ended yesterday as I took Kristine and Justin to the airport at 12:30 for their return flight to Seattle. We stopped at Josie's shop on the way to say a final good-bye and she gave each of them a long stem red rose to take home. It was a perfect week and all of us enjoyed the time together. Hopefully, another visit will not be that far off, and I should mention that the house was perfect for handling the visit.
The day was also one where Western Michigan had a game scheduled. Austin played a super game and WMU beat Ohio University 49-14. Patty also texted that they went to the twins' games and Brandon scored two touchdowns in his Waubonsie High School (sophomore) game. It looks like he might follow in Austin's footsteps on the football field.
It's Sunday and that means pro football day. The Seahawks play the Carolina Panthers and the Cardinals play a tough game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh at 10 AM this morning. They should win the game against the Steelers who are without their starting quarterback. The Seahawks play an undefeated (4-0) Panthers team that really hasn't been challenged yet so I look for the Seahawks to win their game. I hope I'm right on both games.
In between the games, we have some work to do - outside to clean up the rest of the glass from our "busted" table from the storm on Friday, and in the garage to move some boxes onto the racks so that we are able to move everything off the garage floor. The games will come first :)...
