Two things occurred yesterday that were noteworthy. The first thing was that we got a call from a place called "Camping Connection" in Orlando telling us that they received a Jack from Lippert Components, and they were wondering if it was ours(?). Obviously, it is ours and we are trying to figure out how they ended up with it and also how they knew where and how to contact us. They indicated that they would make sure Camping World got it. What next with that situation.
The most important thing that happened was I received a message from Disney World while we were away from my phone indicating that there was an opening, if I was interested. It appears from the brief description in the message that it is in the ESPN Complex and involves working with the computer at the front gate and preparing tickets. I tried to return the call yesterday but will have to wait until today to get all the details. It is my understanding that the job will start now and go to April 2 which would be perfect. That changes everything we had planned for the short term, but it changes for the better. We would need to find a longer term space and stay in the Orlando area. Stay tuned for the update.
The timing is good for that call since we are heading back to Orlando today to stay at the Thousand Trails park for a week. Hopefully, we can get the repair done on the jacks and secure a job in this coming week. It is certainly getting exciting...
