Trying to Plan The Next Year

It was kind of cool outside all day yesterday - high of 61 - so we stayed around the rig and did some cleaning. The other thing we started to do was try to plan out the next year. We have several different options that we are weighing.

First of all, we received a confirmation from Amazon.com that we are on the list for returning workampers next year. We have a couple options there. We inquired about the facility in Fernley, NV for next year, and it is an alternative for us if we decide to work out west. Fernley is about 5 miles or so east of Reno so it would be very cold there, and likely would have more snow, during the October - December time frame. The main decision for us is whether we want to spend the next year on the east coast, or go back west.

If we stay here in the east, we would work in Virginia for the summer, go back to Campbellsville in October to Amazon.com and then return here to Florida to work at Disney again. If we decide to go back to Cody and work there for the summer, we would go to Amazon in Fernley and try to find a place to work in either California, Arizona or a warm location out west during the winter months. The decision is a tough one. We want to work in different locations, but the west is more to our liking - so far. There is so much to see and do in  both areas that it really doesn't matter except that the weather is a major consideration for us, wherever we go. We will sort it out and make our decision soon, which we need to do to preserve our spots where we have confirmed employment.

Today is another unplanned day except that Josie still needs to visit with the manager at this park to discuss possible openings. That will be the priority for today, plus I will get a start on our taxes - UGH! ...
