Since it was rather windy all day, it seemed like a good time to clean the grill. The last time it was cleaned - really cleaned - was in Lincoln City early last year. It turned out to be quite a project. We had to go to the store to get a brush, steel pad and some Oven-Off. It turned out that you can't use the Oven-Off on the grill itself (?) but you can on the grates. Some Dawn dishwashing fluid and hot water did the trick. Anyway, the grill looks nearly new again (below) and we used it last night for the first time since we arrived here:
Today we will try to make some arrangements at a Thousand Trails Park that is in Orlando. We are staying where we are so we could be near the Camping World facility, but after they repair the problem - hopefully this week - there is no reason to stay. That would allow us to stay for up to 3 weeks with a minimal cost of $3 per day for utilities. At least, that is the immediate plan until, or unless, something comes up at the Tampa RV Show this week. We are constantly looking out for opportunities that may be here in Florida, but if we can't find something that works for us, we will head out toward Arizona, perhaps stopping along the way.
As mentioned before, it has been a little cool and breezy the last couple days, but we are thankful that we have exited the states north of us - KY, TN and GA - as they are getting snow once again. We'll take 65 and breezy. There is some rain forecast for today and it is a bit cloudy, so they are probably right. It looks like a quiet day at home today...
