Tough Night

Our streak was not broken yesterday. We received almost .10" of rain last night to make it 15 consecutive days. The real problem so far today is the wind. It started at about 1 AM this morning and has blown at a steady 40 - 50 MPH since. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep last night.

Our work day ended at noon again yesterday and we went to a Joann's store in town so Josie could get some fleece material to make a blanket for the sofa in the fifth wheel. After leaving there, we decided to take a trip, 20 miles up the road, to the other casino that people go to from this area. It is called the Spirit Mountain Casino and is much larger than the one in Lincoln City. Since it was an unscheduled trip we didn't have money budgeted for the slots so we only used the pocket money we had which was only about $15 each. It wasn't enough to do any good, but we are sold on the casino anyway and will definitely be back. We did sign up for the club card but didn't get a free buffet coupon because they only gave those out on Tuesdays and Fridays. Wish we had known that. They did give us each $5 of free slot play though. We believe the machines know that the money being played is promotional money and no jackpots are paid while playing from that. Ha!

Today is a really short day. We work only 2 1/2 hours each and then we're off through Saturday. There are a few chores we need to get done before we can play, so we hope we can get those done quickly. Until tomorrow...
