According to the weather forecast for today, our consecutive days of rain (17) is in jeopardy. Even though it is cloudy outside this morning, there has been no rain and we can see blue sky between the clouds. If that happens, there is a good chance we will spend some time down at the beach.
We spent the day yesterday around the rig. Josie made her blanket while I watched the Masters Golf Tournament and later set up the weather station so that it would be more stable. The other major chore we accomplished was defrosting the freezer. This is something that needs to be done about once every 3 months in order to stay on top of it. We have had some water leaking into the refrigerator and it appears that the frost in the freezer has been creating a problem for the ice maker which may have caused the problem. We will know soon enough if that problem has been fixed. I do know that the Masters is on my schedule again for today.
All of the spring break vacations are over now for Washington and Oregon. Oregon was last week and Washington was this week, so the little bit of extra people will be gone from here. We are sure that the weather has contributed to a smaller crowd this year. We don't believe the reports that the economy has turned around. There are still signs everywhere that it has a long way to go. Oh, well. That's another topic for another day...
