Wrapping Up the Week

Before going any further, I want to show these shots from the start of our drive to work. The temperature was 30 degrees and we got these shots of an antelope running through the elk refuge and also showing the frozen refuge grass around the irrigation sprinklers:

While at work yesterday, we had one of our demonstrations with the Raptors and other local birds that are done twice a week during the season. They are excellent presentations by some very qualified handlers:

We ended our week yesterday with a plan to finally go to Cody today. We made our reservations at the Buffalo Bill Village (cabins) where we worked several years ago. It will be fun to see the town again and to renew old memories of one of our favorite places.

Just a side note - we captured numbers 17 and 18 mice. I don't think we will ever be done with them until we leave.

See you tomorrow from Cody....
