Upside Down

As we were planning a very nice day yesterday which included a ride on the Tram at Teton Village, the weather pulled a "switcheroo" on us. The clouds started rolling in and the temperatures dropped. We drove to Teton Village anyway hoping that things would settle enough for us to take our "free" ride on the Tram. When we arrived there at around 11 AM, the Tram was shut down as a result of lightening in the area. The prospects for using our free ride were rapidly going down hill. This is a shot of the Tram as we decided to leave the area:

We did get tickets for the Tram to be used today in the event that weather conditions improve.

While driving home from Teton Village, we saw this young moose on the side of the road:

He could care less about the weather or about all the people trying to get photos of him.

Before heading home, we stopped in Jackson and had lunch at one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants - El Abuelito. I had Chili Colorado while Josie had a Chicken Enchilada. It was an OK meal, good enough to return again sometime.

It doesn't look like today is going to be much better, weather-wise, than yesterday so we will have to play it by ear. Oh, and by the way, Josie and I worked like crazy early yesterday morning washing and cleaning the truck for our planned fun day...
