Cruising Along

It is now getting to were we are used to seeing the Jackson weather. The last several days have been mostly sunny with a few clouds and very few scattered showers. Work was OK yesterday with up and down visitor volume. So far, it seems that the number of guests at the Visitor Center is down from what we are used to seeing. It is only rarely that we have a line at the register. Schools are out now so we should be seeing an upturn in traffic soon.

So far, we have heard nothing from Sun City about our home. We hope that no news is good news. We don't expect any problems there, so we probably shouldn't worry about it. We were talking about our grapes yesterday and wondering if our neighbor, Jim, has had a taste of any of them yet. They should almost be ready to pick. We haven't heard of any bad weather there so far, so everything should still be normal.

We will attempt to make some adjustments to our schedule when our manager comes back from his two days off. Right now, we are scheduled for only two days off this week, and we want to try to make it three. Scheduling will probably be the most important thing for us in the immediate future...
