Testing New Commute

I took Josie's phone into the (dreadful) AT&T store yesterday morning to have some issues resolved on her new phone. It was an OK session with the staff, but the issues were easy ones. The only remaining problems are with passwords for the apps on the new phone and trying to remember them. It has become a real hassle handling passwords for any phone or computer now as every application has its own rules for passwords and they result in having to keep track of many, many different passwords. The secret is not to lose your phone or change computers.

Josie got off early from work yesterday so we used the late afternoon to take some paperwork to her new job location and to do her drug test and citizenship verification. We took the preferred route to get there which is mostly freeway the entire way. That route works really well during off-peak traffic hours. We made it to her new job location in 30 minutes from home. All of the tasks were completed and we left the new location at 4:15 PM which would coincide with rush hour traffic. The route we used coming home was on back roads using no freeway access at all. It took just less than an hour which isn't too bad considering we didn't use any freeways.

It is a much longer commute for her starting out but we hope she can get a transfer to one of their store locations closer to home in a few months...
