Oven Door Open

Starting today, and for the next several days, we expect the temperatures to be in record high territory. The range will be 112-116. We had the final taste of decent (?) highs yesterday which was around 109. It has been a tough summer so far with the heat and the chores to get all of our boxes emptied and things organized in the house. It would have been better to start all this in the Fall, but we had little choice in the timing.

The weather is expected to get back in the "normal" range by Friday, just in time for Patty's visit. We understand that Debby will not be coming as a result of work conflicts which is too bad. We were looking forward to having her visit with us while Patty is here. We are starting to line up the activities for the visit beginning Friday and lasting through Tuesday of next week. We hope the monsoon storms take a long break over the next two weeks as we are planning some fun places to go and nice things to see...
