Errands Day

There were some errands that we had to run yesterday to help organize our house and to begin our happy hour prep for next weeks visitors.

Our first stop was at the St Vincent DePaul donation area to drop off a couple boxes of items we sorted through at the house. The next stop was supposed to be at BevMo to do our booze pickup. That's when we spotted the Oregano's restaurant right next to BevMo. We had never been to this BevMo, so we were surprised to see the nice restaurant next door. So, we decided to have our lunch and also call it an early dinner at this great Italian restaurant:

We each tried something different this time and we were a little disappointed with our choices. Josie tried the Shrimp Scampi and I had the Italian Flag Lasagna. Neither was what we expected and were sorry we made those choices. But - it is still a nice Italian Restaurant and we will return.

We then walked next door and did our BevMo thing.

The last stop on our schedule was at Home Depot where we picked up a recycle trash can to use on those special days that are designated for recycle items.

One last shot for today that was taken late yesterday afternoon of one of our quail families:

We never get tired of watching them walking around our yard. We expect to see more newborn chicks soon as there is another nest by our front door. This time, they are pigeons and they don't seem to hang around like the quail. Once they hatch, we will take steps to permanently remove that nesting location...
