Easter 2018

Our attempt at going to the Easter service at church was derailed, but ended nicely. The Easter service at the Pioneer Resort was our target at 9 AM. As we approached the clubhouse, there was an obvious lack of vehicles in the parking lot. When we went inside, we could see that there was no service at the normal location. It was still early enough for us to go up the freeway to Anthem and attend one of the Easter services at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. It was great timing and a very nice service. It turned out that the Pioneer service was held at the chapel in the museum located in the Pioneer Village next door.

The rest of the day - until we left for dinner at George and Cheryl's - was spent reviewing the houses we have visited and with some dialogue with our real estate agent. We are getting closer to making a decision on a house. Today is very important in the decision process as we are anticipating the close on our Glendale home which means cash in the bank to make a move.

Josie will work today, so we will wait to see what happens with the closing and with any changes, if any, in the status the homes we are interested in pursuing.

Our Easter dinner with George and his family was terrific and it could only have been better if we also had Patty and her family there...
