It is a little scary to see the days going by without having a firm closing date for our house. Actually, we do have a date - May 15 - which is way too far out to suit us. We anticipate a close date at the end of this month in order to make everything work for us. We have a very important meeting at the house at 10 AM this morning which will (hopefully) result in agreement on how the furniture will be handled. Whatever the agreement, the furniture needs to go before starting any odor control measures.
We plan to visit a couple of the RV dealers in the area following the meeting. We have been researching Class C motorhomes as an option to having our fifth wheel shipped to Jackson if we decide to go this season. It might make good sense for us to trade our fifth wheel - after 10 years of heavy use - for a smaller, more manageable unit. With the home purchase in Sun City, we will most likely end our full-time RVing lifestyle and just travel seasonally to places and maybe take some shorter trips throughout the year. Whatever we decide, it will have to happen following the closing on our house.
There is so much to do yet, and time is running out...
