Week Two Underway

We stayed home yesterday morning to catch up on some things we needed to do around the fifth wheel. We also needed to water some areas of our lawn which we are responsible for maintaining. Of course, the sun was shining and it was a clear day that could have been spent driving through some beautiful areas in this part of Wyoming. Fortunately, we have the whole summer ahead of us, so we don't consider it wasted time. Besides, we had to be ready to begin our second week on the job - our first full week on the schedule.

Working with Senna was a first for this year. She is the young gal (from Holland) that works with her husband in the winter in their own Yellowstone snow tours business. Each winter they take folks snowmobiling in Yellowstone and provide accommodations for them on what we hear is a tremendous experience. She will only be working a couple shifts per week and we enjoy working with her on one of our shifts. We also worked a single shift with her last year.

It turned out to be the slowest night so far since we returned to the Lodge. There were only about 10 check-ins, excluding the bus, so Senna went home early to be with her husband and small child. It was mostly a normal evening and we enjoyed talking with the tour guide from the Caravan Tour bus about her job and private life in Livingston, MT when she is not on the road with a tour.

It's another clear morning and the temperature is suppose to warm up a bit, so we hope to do something outside before going back to work at 3 PM...
