More on the BikeTrail

One of the areas where the bike trail goes is behind the post office in Jackson to the southern part of town. We wanted to see where the trail started, so we took a walk before work yesterday to locate the trail.

Across from the RV park and at the beginning of our walk, we passed the library that had beautiful flowers all around the front:

We picked up the bike trail at the rear of the post office and started walking the trail to see where it went in town. There were many apartments and condos along the trail, and it followed the Flat Creek through this part of town:

The trail eventually goes to Smiths grocery store where we do our shopping, but we turned off because we had to eat and get ready for our afternoon shift at work. We ended up walking about 3 miles total, and made some stops at a couple local stores before reaching home. We will definitely ride the trail with our bikes and will take it to the grocery store at the south end of town.

We finished our work week yesterday and will take our scheduled rafting trip this morning. We anticipate a warm, sunny morning and also some relatively fast whitewater action along the ride. It seems like the river is still high from the snow runoff and should be an exciting ride. Hopefully, we'll have some photos to show of our adventure today and a description of one of the best activities in this area...
