Office Stuff and More Wind

We had another cool and windy day yesterday. It only got to 64 with a low of 37, but the winds remained at a steady 20-25 MPH with a peak gust of 26. Once again though, the day dawned bright, sunny and calm and remained that way until about noon.

Our day was pretty slow again but we did get the RV sites totally filled for the weekend. We took some of the office stuff that we cleaned out of the Surprise location into the lodge for them to use. Bob had a lot of heavier stock paper that he used for brochures for real estate sales that we had no room to store. We still have more stuff that they will ultimately get.

The restaurant is beginning to see a good increase in traffic and they are featuring some nice entrees. Yesterday was a special 14 oz. New York Strip Steak Dinner with baked potato, fresh vegetables and a salad for $18.95. They are also serving a buffet breakfast each morning on the weekends for $8.50. It provides a good option for the seasonal RVers that stay the whole summer and don't want to travel a long distance to eat out.

Today is the AM shift again and we will try to get some pictures of the lodge interior for tomorrow's post. The morning shift really suites us better since we still have a good portion of the day for ourselves when we get off work. Josie did some baking yesterday after work - Banana nut bread and a yellow cake. I suspect that some of that will make it into the lodge for the staff to enjoy.

Later...
