Good News is no Bad News

We arrived at the Clinic about 9:30 yesterday to do the paperwork and pay the copay for Josie's procedure. She went in about 10:30 and Bob didn't get a call to come in to her recovery room until noon. people that arrived after Josie were already leaving so there was some concern about what was happening with Josie. It turns out, and Bob should have remembered, that they were actually performing two procedures on Josie - the Colonoscopy and an Endoscopy. Josie has been taking medication for Barrett's esophagus for several years. Both procedures were done with just minor discoveries, none of which were bad. The doctor took a couple specimens for biopsies and we will know the results in a couple days.

Josie was pretty groggy and very hungry. We went to a Village Inn for some food and then stopped at the grocery store for some food for the room and went and checked in. Not a very exciting day.

Today we will finish the job at the shed and do some miscellaneous stuff. Josie has a friend and former coworker that had an operation yesterday and had some complications so she wants to see her at the hospital. Also, she needs to check with her former employer about COBRA details.

Other than that, we are hopeful to get back to Happy Jack at a decent hour.

Until then...
