With all the rain in the area, it was difficult to plan any outside activities. Every time we settled on someplace to go, the rain would start. It appears that more of the same is in the forecast for today. Add to that some cooler temperatures, and our time off is looking more like an extended rest. Today is suppose to be the worse of the rain activity. We still hope to put something together with our friends for tonight, but we'll wait and see.
One thing I forgot to mention from last week was that our mice count rose by 2. We are now sitting at the number 10 for mice. We haven't gotten any more in the last three days, so maybe this wave is over. It sure is disgusting having to deal with all these mice.
I have some feelers out for things we might do today/tonight. I just hope we can get some relief from the wet weather....
