Yesterday was about as we expected at work. The couple we were scheduled to work with had to leave for a family event in Salt Lake City so we spent the day with our assistant manager (Kathy) She is OK to work with but the day was very slow which made for a lot of standing around doing nothing. We hate those kind of days which seem to stretch the hours. There is no clear reason why the crowds are smaller this year. With a good economy, there should be more visitors.
Our day begins today at 9 AM and we work until 5:30 PM which is a full day. We hope it is busier than yesterday, but it is what it is. It is clear outside this morning, but thundershowers are expected later in the day.
We are also making a list of places to go and things to do with our friends Ed and Eileen on our days off this week. There are some new and unusual places, so stay tuned for those plans as they develop...
