Our short battle with the mice may be over. We have gone 24 hours now without a catch in the traps. It doesn't guarantee that the war is over, but I think we have the upper hand at this point. The total through yesterday is 4 caught with no further evidence that there are any more in the RV. My gut feeling is that there will be more as this location is prime territory for mice. We'll see.
Our work week began yesterday with a fairly long day - 9-5. We don't start until 1 PM today, but we work until 7:15 as we close. The schedule is terrible the way it is laid out but we will just grin and bear it and hope that things improve. The good news is that we have the 4th of July off which means we get to do the parade again this year. That was a request we made months ago while putting together our commitment for the season.
As July gets underway today, there are three months remaining in the season. It can't go fast enough this year as we struggle to make things work. We are hoping that something happens to make it a more pleasant experience....
