As we prepared everything in the RV for our departure today, we took time out to watch Austin's game at Central Michigan University (3-1). This Bronco team is for real at 5-0. They beat Central Michigan, 49-10, in a contest that wasn't even that close. Austin had an excellent game and made several eye catching tackles on kick coverage. I took these shots of one tackle on a kick return just before the end of the first half. Of course, Austin is number 23, and made this crushing tackle that had the announcers buzzing:
Based on their performance so far this season and looking at their schedule, They have a solid opportunity to go the entire season undefeated. We are so excited to get to Patty's in October to go and see him play against Eastern Michigan while we are visiting there.
We will leave our campground this morning at around 9 AM, and hope to arrive in Heber City, UT, by around 3 PM this afternoon. It was a season to remember, and we are anxious to get settled in AZ for the winter months...
