It is finally over for this season. Our final day was yesterday and we closed at 7 PM. We expect to receive an offer to work the same job in the same location next season, probably within a month. A photo was taken of our working crew on the final day:
L to R - Georgann (our Supervisor), Sherrie, Bob, Josie, Charma and John.
It was a very interesting - and satisfying - year for us. We didn't get to play as much this year as we usually do because of several factors: appointments in Idaho Falls for the truck and dental work, Josie hip and leg issues and needing more rest than usual at our initial location at the Visitor Center in Moose. We wished that we had switched to our present location a lot sooner.
Today we will pack up the RV and get a little shopping done for our trip south. The plan is to hitch-up and leave tomorrow AM at around 9 AM. We have 300 miles to drive to Heber City, UT where we will stay at the Deer Creek State Park again for one night.
So far, the weather is terrific today. It would be nice if it stays that way for at least through the next 5 days...
