As everybody already knows, this is the Monsoon season in Arizona - along with the extreme heat. For the most part, the TV Meteorologists can come close to predicting the activity, but they can never be precise in the forecast. For sure, they can't predict how serious the storms will be or the exact locations. They pop up anywhere, usually in the late afternoon. We had one serious storm "graze" us last night and it produced some serious damage just east of us in Phoenix. We had some minor wind damage, but there are areas not too far from us that have fallen trees and more serious damage. The forecast is for storms on every day this week and we have to just wait and see where they occur. I will be glad when this monsoon season ends and, more importantly, when the hot weather goes away. We have about one more month to go.
I picked up another propane tank yesterday to insure that we don't run out of propane while grilling. That happened two days ago when we only had the one small tank that we used while we traveled. It was extra weight to have a spare in the fifth wheel, so we only travelled with the one small tank. Hopefully, the monsoon will cooperate and we can enjoy more grilling without running out of fuel and not getting blown away.
It looks like a normal week otherwise. There are no special plans for the Labor Day weekend - yet - so we'll just take it one day at a time...
