Josie was outside hosing off the patio and the pool decking yesterday morning. As she was cleaning off the pool decking, two scorpions - at opposite ends of the pool - came up onto the deck and she eliminated them. It assures us that they are hanging out in the stones that are on the ground and they were getting away from the water. That makes a total of six scorpions we have killed since moving into our home. We are anxious now to get the exterminator out as soon as possible and that treatment will be scheduled soon, after I hear from them today. The surprising thing to us is that the previous tenant that lived here the last year indicated that they saw only two scorpions the entire year. They must have thought that a monthly average was requested on the Sellers' Disclosure statement. I will have an update on the treatment schedule tomorrow.
It was another tough loss for the Seahawks last night as they dropped a 27-17, hard fought game against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers got even for the loss in NFC Championship game last year. I'm still not worried about the Seahawks. They are having trouble getting in sync, but, as they did last year, will turn on the burners about mid-season and become unstoppable the rest of the way. That is why we have a 16 game schedule. Two games aren't going to ruin their season and they haven't even played a home game yet.
The Cardinals played a super game yesterday to go 2-0 for the season. Just as last year, they jumped out of the gate and look like they are already in mid season form. Of course, they won against a very weak Bears team It's a long season and if they can stay healthy, should be at or near the top at the end of the season.
