Everything went according to schedule yesterday AM and we parked at the Airport Parking lot, caught the shuttle, checked our bag, went through security and arrived at the gate in plenty time. The flight left on time, was smooth for the most part, and arrived 30 minutes early at O'Hare in Chicago. Patty was there and didn't have to wait for us and we were at her home in Naperville in no time. The boys were there for a short time before going out and we spent some time just visiting on the porch during the terrific day of warm temperatures. These shots were taken while sitting outside:
It was an afternoon of relaxation and visiting. The Cubs game was on TV in the afternoon and we watched that exciting game before dinner and the Monday Night Football game which happened to feature the Bears against the Minnesota Vikings. This shot was taken of Patty popping the cork on a bottle of wine that was enjoyed during the evening:
It was a terrific start to our visit this week. There are some fun activities planned, starting today with a visit to the Pumpkin Farm. Stay tuned for some exciting events during this fun filled week...
