Flu Shots and Mouse Traps

Since Josie heard scratching noises in our closet during the night on Thursday, we picked up a couple of mouse traps yesterday and set them. While we were out getting the traps, we also got our Flu shots for 2017. So, we should be set to go on that front for the season.

So far, there has been no action on the traps. We want to try to catch whatever it is before we leave for Chicago on Monday AM. Maybe it was just a critter passing through and he will be gone now. I hope so.

We are still trying to adjust to our new space here at Pioneer. It is very disappointing to have spent two years in our other, very good space, only to have it taken from us at the last minute this season. Perhaps we will take a liking to it and all will be well again. It makes us want to take a look at selling the house and buying another one in a different area where we can have some property and also place our fifth wheel on it to be handy for trips. We are getting closer to making decisions on that house before we are faced with any major improvements.

Today will be spent mostly getting things together for our Chicago visit. We are hoping that the nice, warm weather they have been having holds through the next week...
