Second Day in WA and Back Home

We were all tired from Friday and not getting to bed until late, so we slept in until around 8 - if you can call that sleeping in. Harmony had a good night's sleep and didn't wake up until we were almost ready to leave. She still wakes up with a smile on her face:

The scratch is visible from the fall she took earlier in the week. We decided to take her to Target down the street from the motel and get her a couple pairs of shoes for school before going back to Kristine's. Of course, she was appreciative and it made her day. We didn't stay too long at Kristine's because we wanted to go over to Tracy's place and see her before we had to leave. I did get a shot of Kristine with the baby:

Eventually we made it over to see Tracy and we spent some time visiting with her and was able to get this shot:

We always worry about both these two girls, but especially Tracy. Their lives are a struggle, but we cannot make their decisions for them.

It was on the road by 2 PM and we made much better time on the trip home and got here about 6 PM last night. There wasn't anywhere near the traffic or construction zones that we had on the trip up on Friday. We will go the extra distance to Salem on Tuesday though, just to avoid all of the small towns that we went through between Lincoln City and Portland.

Our final 2 days of working here begin today. There are a couple people we will miss so we get a chance to say goodbye to them. It shouldn't take us too long to organize the rig for travel. We've gotten the routine down pretty good by now. Until tomorrow...
