So far, we have spent an enormous amount of time at the AT&T stores trying to resolve problems. The latest problem - not being able to access our DirecTV bill online - was the subject of yesterday's visit. It turns out that the same user ID on more than one account (our cell account and satellite account) causes problems in the system. Actually, there would not have been a problem if we didn't have an older DirecTV account that was in the system - the one we cancelled before moving everything to the bundled AT&T program. At any rate, we solved the problem by listing the DirecTV account under Josie's username. I can't say that the experience to date with AT&T has been a joyous one. Even though DirecTV is now part of the AT&T company, there is no satellite support at any of the stores. Time will tell.
Tonight is our planned get together with our friends John and Vicki Tate. We will go their house - about 1/2 mile away - after Josie gets home from work at around 4:30 PM this afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing them again.
It will again be a very hot day today as the forecast is for 107. The Monsoon season begins in a couple days, so maybe we can get some relief from this god awful summer heat in AZ. Only about 4 months more of this before we see some nice, cool weather...
