It is very rare to have four straight days of rain and very cool weather in the Arizona winter. It is actually going to be the fifth straight day today. Our high has been 62 and our low has been 49 during that stretch, with over an inch of rain. It looks like today will be the last day we have to endure this unusual stretch. It's anybody's guess how long this El Nino effect will stay around for the winter, but I heard that it is already the worst one we have ever had. Every location in the country has had some effect from this year's El Nino.
It has given me a chance to catch up on some paperwork and to get things going on the right track with the truck hitch and other changes. Friday should be the final step with that effort. I am about ready to take the fifth wheel into the dealership for repairs, so that should occur this weekend or early next week. That means we can cancel the storage space and move the fifth wheel into the space at Lake Pleasant following the repairs.
Another step that begins about now is to slowly get all our things packed up again for another storage space. I sent a note to our friends at Jackson outlining our schedule, so I expect to get confirmation on those arrangements any day now. So far, we are moving along close to the planned schedule...
