One thing we have no shortage of, and that is wall hangings. We have pretty much filled the open wall space inside with all our pictures and we still have tons of wall hangings left. We'll have to store those in the garage or somewhere. We also have some outdoor wall hangings that we wanted to place on our new home. This first one is of the Kokopelli's that we had on the side of our house in Sun City Grand:
It's kind of nice and definitely Arizona.
The second piece that we hung was one that Josie got at one of her shops where she worked over the years and is an interesting piece that can hold small plants or, in our case-, battery operated candles that we will insert later:
That about wraps up the outdoor wall hangings except for our welcome sign that will go up today.
We did a lot of moving of boxes and sorting during the day and each day we get a little closer to be settled. Nah. We will never be totally settled with all the stuff we still have and need to find room for. Some day - when it gets a lot cooler - we will get storage shelves for the garage and take care of the items that are still packed and stored out there.
We will go to Costco today to get the final food and items we need for our weekend entertainment plans. This will be the first real visit by friends in our new house and we will be excited to visit somewhere besides under our awning and around our table and chairs for the first time in almost seven years...
