Monsoon

So far this summer season we have had almost a daily dose of the Monsoon. Last night and early this morning we had an accumulation of almost a half inch of rain and it is still spitting now. It was also a heavy dose of thunder and lightening.

It was another day of good progress yesterday emptying boxes and putting away clothes and other goodies from storage. We hope to get just about all the remaining boxes emptied over the next couple days and begin separating Good Will things from "keeper" stuff. We also started shredding some papers yesterday so we hope to get all the files under control very soon. It has become easier to retain papers now with the online capabilities of most of our applications. Of course, now we have a whole new set of files to maintain for the new house.

I have moved into the den now and Josie has taken over the small desk area in the kitchen. We aren't especially liking the separation at this point but maybe it will grow on us. It just makes more sense for me to utilize the den and keep the office clutter to a location outside of the main living area. We have all of the bedrooms just about done now and it is starting to look like we live here...
