Adding to Furnishings

We had an opportunity to pick up a nice bedroom set at a good price as George and Cheryl are planning to remodel their spare bedroom. The bedroom set is a queen bed with two night stands and a nice Armoire, all made from solid oak. The bedroom set is like brand new as it has had very little use since they originally purchased it new when they moved into their present home. Below are a couple shots of our new bedroom set that will be placed in one of our spare bedrooms:

We also enjoyed a nice dinner with them last night and we thank them for both the furniture and the delicious meal.

We drove past the house on the way to their home and saw that the drywall was just about completed. There were still some small areas that needed covering and, of course, the taping and finishing of the drywall. The house is taking shape nicely.

Josie decided to postpone her procedure today to resolve some insurance issues, so that will be rescheduled. That means that she will work tomorrow instead of having the three days off in a row. That will happen when she can reschedule the needle biopsy for another Friday.

There are a couple of stores that we would like to visit while we are still looking for the best place to find pendent lights and fans for the house. Also, there are some major items that we will need and would like to get a line on prices and stores where we might go to pick up those items. Today could be a chance to check out some of those stores...
