It was a very nice day yesterday so we took advantage of it to do some more work outside. Actually, Josie went to do a load of laundry - rugs and blankets - so I had to wait to put the air in the Jeep tires. It was still morning anyway and I didn't want to run the compressor in the AM while there still was a chance that people may be sleeping. With the night shift people still in bed, I decided to wait until the afternoon to make that noise. I took out the compressor around 1 PM and filled each tire, including the spare, with the recommended 33 lbs cold pressure. I did lots more scanning yesterday and Josie did some cleaning inside. I also ordered some string from the shade manufacturer so that I can attempt to restring the shades myself. It doesn't look that complicated, so I'll give it a shot. We sat out and enjoyed the nice weather in the late afternoon before doing some burgers on the grill.
Several of the new arrivals in the campground stopped by for a chat while we were outside so we are meeting the new faces in the neighborhood. Right now, the campground is almost half full, so the next couple weeks will bring in the rest to fill the place for the peak season. They have a waiting list for people wanting a space, so it will definitely be packed to capacity.
It is pouring rain this morning and we didn't put away our chairs from yesterday. That means we will not be sitting out today, even if the sun comes out later today. Usually, we follow the forecast and put them away, but yesterday we didn't. Oh, well. It is only 58 degrees outside this morning so it looks like more scanning and regular laundry is the order for today. It's the last day off this week and once again the days just zipped by...
