Our (work) week finally ended last night and we are now planning our 2 days of free time. as mentioned in the post of yesterday, we want to take another trip to Yellowstone - this time, we plan to go a little later and stay later. Discussions with customers that have been there late in the day have convinced us that the animal activity is much higher, later in the afternoon. That is pretty much true for all animals. When I hunted regularly, we always had better chances of seeing animals either early in the AM or late afternoon when they are moving to their feeding areas. We'll see today if it holds true in Yellowstone. Part of the objectives for today also include replacing my lost Golden Age Pass and the Yellowstone Association card which is used for discounts in the stores, among other things. Karen has asked us to pick up a copy of the DVD we purchased from there the last time we went. We loaned it to her and George and they loved it so much they wanted one for themselves. It is a story of Yellowstone, made in HD, which is the most complete and factual of all the DVD's - according to the clerk that sold it to us.
Our plans right now also include another visit tomorrow night to the Concert In The Park (with Karen and George) that we almost completely missed last week when we showed up 5 minutes before it concluded. After that, we will all go to the Nitely Rodeo. I plan to try and get a replacement Rodeo Pass that I lost in the rafting accident. I hope the Rodeo office has a record of my first pass so that I don't have to buy another one.
So, it's time to get ready for the start of our fun time this week. There should be some good photos from our trip today that we will share tomorrow...
