We have just about everything wrapped up for our change to another park. I tried all day yesterday to connect with Terry in Eugene, and ended up just trading messages. We can't reveal any changes until the folks here are aware of our plans. The arrangements are 99 % complete at the other end and we just have to solidify our dates of arrival which depend on when we can leave here. We won't know that until we talk to Terry.
The storm we had all day yesterday was a record breaker for the area. It shattered every record for rainfall on that date in all cities in northwestern Oregon. We finished the day with 1.62" and believe me, it didn't let up at all the whole day until dinner time last night. The winds also finally stopped around the same time. This was probably the best test we could have had for leaks in our rig and we passed with flying colors. We saw the gentleman staying across from us working frantically outside to fix leaks he had discovered. Believe it or not, there is more rain in the forecast.
The shortest work day of the week for us is today. I work till 10:30 and Josie comes in and works till 1 PM. If we don't get a chance to talk to Terry before Mary comes to work at 1 PM, we will have to tell her of our plans since we aren't scheduled to work again until Sunday. I hope we don't have to tell the managers before Terry finds out.
We have planned a trip to Washington this weekend to see our daughters - Tracy and Kristine (and her family). We don't know when we would be in this area again and it is something that we wanted to do sometime while we were here. We will leave early Friday morning and plan to return Saturday night. It is about a 4-5 hour drive to where they are living near Tacoma.
That's about it until we let the cat out of the bag...
