Switching Days

We agreed to a small change in our schedule yesterday. The new girl on staff - Karen - has a sister that is graduating from BYU next week and will attend those festivities as we agreed to work for her on two of her scheduled days which were off days for us. In return, she will work two of our scheduled days the following week. The end result is that we will work six straight days next week, but we will have five consecutive days off the following week. That is something we have never had and will have to figure something unique to do during that five day period.

There are other minor changes in store for the work staff - none of which will affect us - but we have to wait to see what develops. Right now, we are trying to solidify the staff for the long haul which means removing one of the low performing staff members. Stay tuned for that change. There will always be some drama at the workplace, right?

It is a nice feeling that we only have three more days to go this week. The new, shorter schedule appears to agree with us at this point...
