It has become difficult to get our normal chores done while working the five day schedule. We want to do all the fun stuff on our days off and, consequently, we are forced to do regular chores during the work week. Josie is doing some laundry this morning between 7 AM and 10 AM. Our work day begins at 11 AM. Today is our dreaded day where we close the Visitor Center at night, and reopen the next morning at 7:45. As said before, we are really looking forward to the four day work week promised to us.
As a result of our closing last night, we missed a GTA (Grand Teton Association) party that started at 6 PM. As we went to a similar party last year after closing the Visitor Center (after 7:30 PM) the food was almost gone by the time we arrived, so we passed on it this year. Unfortunately, nobody considers the late workers when scheduling these affairs. I'm sure there will be others that we will be able to attend later in the year...
