Closing Out theWeek

Today is our final day of this work week. Amen. This week went pretty fast as we look back on it. Even though there are staffing problems, we were able to make the best of the situation and get another "good" week under our belt. It appears that, for the first time in several years, we will get a chance to go to the Fourth of July parade. The schedule, at least for now, has us off on that day next week.

There is a "neighborhood" party scheduled for the 4th of July. We were invited to the gig which will be in the afternoon and will be held close to our mini campground here in the Elk Refuge. We will have a barbeque followed by watching the fireworks which will be conducted not too far from us. It should be a fun day and we are hoping that the weather cooperates for that occasion.

In the meantime, we are planning another hike for one of our two days off this week. There are a couple options we are looking at and will decide sometime today. There are many good choices, so no matter what, it should be good exercise with some pretty scenery...
