For a long time we have been looking forward to Patty and her family coming out to visit us over the Thanksgiving Holiday. At least, we were looking at Patty, Mark and the twins coming out for Thanksgiving. We were not able to put together that plan and decided it would be a lot cheaper if Josie and I would fly to Chicago and spend the Thanksgiving weekend with her family. That would also include Austin and Michael who would not have made it to Arizona for the weekend. So, we purchased the tickets yesterday for our trip to Chicago which will be from November 21-25. It will be the first time we have spent Thanksgiving together with her entire family since I can remember.
One thing we are hoping for during that visit is - nice weather. It should be before the worse part of winter hits (snow) so we are obviously looking forward to a great trip.
Josie is recovering nicely from the last couple weeks of physical problems. She begins her new job at Sun City Florists on Thursday, so she is getting herself mentally prepared for a wonderful, new experience...
