While watching the Cardinals/Seahawks game yesterday, I couldn't help but think these two teams were in a different league. There were lots of dropped passes, penalties, missed field goals (4) and generally, bad football. The Seahawks won 20-17 on a field goal as time ran out, but it could have been the Cardinals in the same situation. Neither team is going anywhere this season which is kind of sad after seeing these two teams battle and threaten to win it all for many seasons.
The rain has finally arrived and is expected to be around for at least two days. We sure can use it - and more. That also means cooler temperatures for the next several days. We went from the 100's to the 80's without even looking at the 90's. Of course, we may return to the heat after the rains leave.
Josie was concerned about her commute in the rain but this morning she made it to work with no problems. She left a little earlier and went on the surface roads instead of the freeway which gives her a better comfort feeling. It will be another day tomorrow similar to today, except she may have to leave the house in the dark which could be a problem. We'll see how it goes...
