The anxiety is building for Josie as she starts her first day at Sun City Florists today. She is entering this experience with a different kind of attitude than she had with AJ's. First of all, there is very little - 5 minutes - commute, and secondly, it is a flower shop where she feels much more comfortable. I drove her to work this morning just to help relieve some stress and to make sure there were no surprises when she got there. We hope for the best and I will review her first day tomorrow.
We played a round of miniature golf at our rec-center yesterday. It is the third round for us and I have improved each time. Josie had a rough front nine and, even though she improved dramatically on the back nine, she didn't have her best round. It is fun to play and the fact it so close and free, it is a great form of entertainment. Our next goal is to try the bowling alley which is also part of the rec-center. That will be interesting as neither of us has bowled in about 20 years.
It is very quiet around our golf course these days as we watch the work crews during the re-seeding project. It's easy to see where the most seed has been spread as that is where the birds are congregating. There will be no play on the course until November 10...
