The expected surgery for Josie was delayed for another appointment. The insurance considerations required that she get at least one more shot, maybe two, before they would approve the ablation surgery. She received another shot (actually, two) in her back yesterday and it will be a while before we see how effective they are. Following her appointment and a nice breakfast at the Village Inn in Glendale, we took a side trip to storage to try and locate her extra work shirts that were packed away. She remembered putting them in a box that she thought was close to the front of storage. We checked a lot of boxes and containers and could not locate them. This is what it looked like during the search:
Every time we go there, we are reminded that we
have to get rid of this expense, somehow.
My first eye surgery is today and I will fast until it is over. I should be out of there by around noon sometime and will go directly to a place where we can have breakfast. This appointment is at the Sun City location where both surgeries will take place. Josie took yesterday off from work (of course) and will take off this morning to drive me home from the surgery. She will be working Saturday to make up for the lost time.
We're moving along through the schedule, and all is well so far...
