Even though there have been a few games already, our Spring Training games begin today. It would have been nice to start yesterday as the Cubs played the Texas Rangers (9-9 tie). Our game today isn't bad either as the Arizona Diamondbacks will be in the stadium to play the Kansas City Royals. Our start time is 10:30 even though the game won't start until 1:05 PM.
We had a stay-at-home day yesterday and did a few small things around the RV. The main thing was to repair a shade that had a broken string and it is now ready to go again. There are lots of other small items that need attention, but they will be done, over time, on other days. It was not a bright, cheery day, as we had more clouds. No rain, but lots of clouds. The temperatures are expected to rise this week to almost 90 before the weekend. We don't like to see that happen as once you hit 90 in AZ, the 100 degree days are not far away.
It's off to the stadium today for another year of Spring Training. Play ball!...
