Yesterday's game between the Texas Rangers and Colorado Rockies was another fairly fast and well pitched game on a perfectly beautiful day. The Rockies won, 3-2, which makes it two in a row losses for the homes team for us this season. I hope that doesn't become the trend as we would like to see the home teams win.
There was a small change in our schedule as we have today off after reminding our manager that he had us scheduled for 7 straight days. We like the work, but we have other things to take care of and can't work the entire week without at least one day off. Anyway, the Rangers and the Royals each will play Team Venezuela over the next two days. It seems that Mexico, Italy and Venezuela will play some of the Cactus League teams over the next couple days before they play in the World Baseball Classic.
We have appointments to schedule today on our day off so that we can reschedule some of the ones we had to cancel when we went to Texas. The most important ones are our eye exams and my Colonoscopy. The off day comes at a good time...
