Ready for Final Leg

As we turn the page on the calendar, we realize that there is just one month to go for the season. These final four weeks will go quickly, and we will soon be making plans for our return to AZ. It is unclear at this point if we will stay for an extra few days to help out, or if we will leave on schedule around the 2nd of October. There is always the memory of a few years ago when left this area on the first of October and were followed south by the season's first snow storm. That is always a concern and a possibility. We will, however, go forward with plans to return again next year assuming that nothing occurs in the interim to change our plans.

One thing that has come out of the last couple weeks, and that is that we do prefer working the four day week vs the five day week. We enjoy the extra day as it makes a huge difference in our mental state. It doesn't seem like we are working all the time and we definitely feel more rested when we go back to work again. Next year, the four day week is a must in order for us to return - at least for this job.

We are also getting into the time of year when the leaves begin to turn and the Fall colors arrive. We noticed some of that during our travels the last few days and are anxious to get out and snap some photos of the area when the Fall colors arrive in full force...
