We are still making changes to our travel itinerary. The more I played with the target destination each day, the more I didn't like the long days and many miles traveling each day. It just didn't match our preferred travel pattern. So, I added a day. Instead of traveling three days to get from Phoenix to WA, we will take four days and we will average around 300 miles each day instead of almost 500 miles. That means we will arrive at our daily destination in time to set up and relax a bit before the day ends and we should not be travel weary. It just means that we have one less day to acclimate to Cody before starting work. Oh, and there was another opportunity that popped up yesterday at a location - in Jackson Hole - that is one of our favorite locations in the Tetons. I sent an inquiry, so hold on for a potential major change in our plans. That is not so likely, but still a chance.
Today will be Josie's final day at the shop. They have plenty of people that can cover for her through Mother's Day. We plan to load up all the items that need to go to storage and drop them off after I pick her up this afternoon. If the shop is caught up, she may even get to leave early which would be terrific. There are still some things we need to do around the RV to get ready, but the day is almost here for the launch of our summer experience for 2016...
