Except for a trip to our fifth wheel in the morning to get a few things, it was a quiet day at home. No games, no practices. The Bears have a good team this year and it was fun watching them win yesterday against the Carolina Panthers.
Michael went back to school yesterday afternoon and we didn't get to see much of him this weekend. He spent the whole time with his girlfriend who is going to Eastern Illinois University and who also had to go back yesterday. Mike took his car back to school with him so he can get a job to help pay for his expenses. It is "rumored" that he will be transferring to Eastern next semester to be closer to his girlfriend. The only picture we got of Mike the whole weekend was a shot just as he was getting ready to leave, and it wasn't a very good one, so we'll see if we can do better next time he is home. We just need to remember how it was for us when we were in love and going to college.
With today being the holiday, the twins are home from school. We are going to probably take a trip to the local pumpkin patch to begin getting ready for Halloween. It is amazing how the weather has cooperated for us since we left Cody over a week ago. It is still summer-like weather here - highs in the 80's - and it is expected to last a couple more days. We actually had to turn on the air conditioner yesterday. Nobody is complaining though. Believe it or not, that is about all to report for now...
